In the largest ENERGY STAR^® Awards ceremony ever, 17 CEE members were honored for their continued excellence in delivering energy-efficiency programs to their customers. This new category, Sustained Excellence in Program Delivery, was created so that new organizations could gain recognition for their efforts in promoting ENERGY STAR while still acknowledging the outstanding work of former winners.

In addition, three CEE members were recognized as ENERGY STAR Partners of the Year for Program Delivery and four more were cited for their exceptional outreach efforts.

In the Sustained Excellence (Program Delivery) category, CEE winners were Pacific Gas & Electric, San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas, CenterPoint Energy, NYSERDA, Cape Light Compact, Connecticut Light & Power, Efficiency Vermont, Long Island Power Authority, National Grid, NSTAR Electric, United Illuminating, Unitil, Western Massachusetts Electric, TXU Electric Delivery and Wisconsin Focus on Energy.

ENERGY STAR Partners of the Year included Austin Energy, New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and Puget Sound Energy.

National Grid, Alliant Energy/MidAmerican Energy, Nevada Power/Sierra Pacific Energy Trust of Oregon were honored for Excellence in ENERGY STAR Outreach.
